Can't wait to see this thing buffed up! That roof looks scary but if you have to mess with a b-pillar the passenger side one is better than the drivers side, at least you won't have to worry about the seams.

Re: 58 mingo mango
So a lot of u know I've been hunting for a early bus project so when I dragged this home last year late October I was pretty stoked
Not much progress as yet with a busy harvest and playing farmer plus school holidays and now renovating a old machinery into the new vw workshop and car storage for my other rides but I could resist a little clean up to see how the og paint was

Good to see you are getting the hang of resizing and posting the pics mate. When I get the notch sorted again I'll have to come check out the mingo mango

I would just turn up for the Pizza's Brad, got a rear half roof of the cubby hut about the last window back if that helps, havnt cut it off yet, used the middle section to repair the Darwin bus, all yours if you want to cut it off or drill out the spot welds, in Adelaide now. Regards Ian

Re: 58 mingo mango
Will catch up Ian at the up coming vw show in Adelaide for a chat if u about
Thinking maybe a full rag top for the roof figure if I'm going to take to it with a angle grinder might as well had a cool feature to the bus, I know a bloke who has rag top cut out of a samba hoping to score it of him and then get the rest from grumpy metal in the US
On a side note this bus is missing its front drivers door be keen to talk to anyone who might have on in og mango
Cheers
