My Dad's Kombi circa 1967 at Taronga Zoo. I'm the light weight with the skinny legs, my older brother is doing the roof jump!

Re: Mango 61
So my so called 2165 turned out to be a pile of junk. Got 5kms out of it and it shit itself.
Ended up with hole in the piston. Took it apart under the watchful eye of Mr Berry and it's now on the shed floor in boxes. Rebuild with all new internals is on the cards when I save the $$$ hopefully get to do some of the rebuild with Matt supervising.

Sorry to hear about the motor and love the bus, very nice.
Hey as an aside when Di they swap from the twin rear lights to the single one that ran till late 60's? My 61 has the later lights but unsure if someone has chopped it up and swapped over, sorry don't mean to hijack thread
