Got a spare moment so picked up the tray and a spare for sections.
Doesn’t look the best, but I have plans.

It’s still paper thin so welding will be a headache not to blow holes! Still need to cut and splice some more sections into it to remove the worst places.

And done! It’s not pretty or perfect, but it’s solidish again and will do the job.
It will be covered also so it won’t be seen much.

No por15, I’m looking at another product to coat it in, but it will have a soft green covering like from the factory. So the pin holes and other discrepancy’s won’t be seen anyway.

After many years, finally in a house with a shed, so now reunited with the bus at home. Off the rotisserie and back on wheels. The doors have come back into alignment more so that’s a win.
Shed pics.

Got started on the bulkhead, that will be 1st then get into the rest.
Had to cut off the remaining sides from it. Sucks tho because boronia Brown is a rare colour here. The car was long gone.

Trial fit.

Started to clean off the old paint and red oxide it for now. Needs to be cut to suit then welded in. There’s sections that need more love than others, but it’s in good shape.

The old bulkhead will be utilised to fix whatever needs it on the new one. It will also be painted to suit the bus. Much xcite with the small progress.
