6 years??? Ha, thats quick! I'm closer to 10, though the ends in sight.
I’m pretty sure 10 years is a conservative estimation Steve
I’m not really a big fan of the whole rat thing but there is something so refreshing about a ratty deluxe. I guess it’s because most get all dressed up with shitty aftermarket parts. Need to get a photo with iron horse, Colin’s 23 and this bus. Like a who’s who of ratty deluxes.
That's a great idea and as 2 out of 3 are in SA, here it should be!
There's lower class, middle class, upper class and now....rat class!
Whatever you think of ratty buses I know mine certainly polarises people. There's no middle ground - I either get a questioning '...when are you going to do it up/paint it' or a pleading '...you're not going to paint it are you?'
Naturally I can have fun with both responses
No matter what happens they can't take you out in the street and shoot you......
Small shit takes a lot of time to do, Safaris are in, all door rubbers and felt now done, will be fitting up the new wiring loom this week, waiting on creative spring plates to turn up so I can fit up the Indian IRS set up
Swapping the bumpers soon for more ratty ones
Still not sure on the new wheels I got

Looks great overall. Was it your bus from memory that had the spring plate fail ?
