Do what you want Chris. Black would look awesome. You would notice any little polishing swirls and defects, so it might mean you have a few extra hours sanding, but what is an extra few hours when your talking in the hundreds anyway!

It would be cool, I haven’t seen another 13 Deluxe in Black white.
As for the Side of the steering wheel, I still don’t give a fuck and it leaves me with the option of selling it back to the States one day

I’ve come to the end of the road with the body work at
My house, I’ve gapped everything up nicely and I have it as flat as I can but she’s still Not right.

A mate has a HR that was his pops, we are doing a swap for a month to help each other out , I’ll get the Holden ready for roadworthy , he will flatten and block the bus .

It’s come at a good time, I’m getting frustrated with chasing my tail on the body work, my friend is a body and paint guy so he will easily finish it.

I’d have liked to be able to say I’ve done it all but I’m happy to have come this far, I’m looking forward to rebuilding the bus when painted.

thanks mate, it sure is hard to stay focused, I’ve had a crazy 4-5 years , lots of mad shit going on. I’m more than happy to hand over the reins .

Sent the bus off to a mates for him to finish the body for paint, and I've got his Pops HR Holden to get running and RWC for him. A good exchange of skills, I hope he pulls his finger out and gets it done.

Yes mate and a red interior , quite rare . It’s very nice inside , not much paint left outside . 70k miles only

My cousin's partner had a black HR with a bright red interior tucked away in his shed for years. He was told by a Holden enthusiast that particular colour combo meant it was a diplomatic car. He resto'd it but unfortunately the winding roads around Warburton were too much for the old girls drum brakes one cold and wet night.

Has anyone here painted a Sea blue/ blue white combo ?
I’ve scrapped the Black / White idea and will go Sea blue but undecided on top colour Cumulus white or Blue white .
I guess I’m more interested in a custom Blue /White with much less blue tint , just a subtle difference .
