Re: 60 Micro Bus
found this today on Aust built bus chassis numbers, I looked on the samba originally and thought it was a june 60 bus, but it seems that aust numbers are different and they start in January
So 1960 bus starts in Jan at chassis number 490623
it finishes at 632584 presumally at around 23 Dec
So my bus is 616500 (well close to this )
They made 132961 that year ( I think this would be worldwide ) that makes 11080 per month
That would make my bus around Nov 60 or even Dec 60 ?

Re: 60 Micro Bus
I would like to thank Cooper at Unique Fab for fitting the inner rear panels and repairing the roof and rear hinge area, done a fantastic job, getting closer now, I was a bit stuck trying to get my head around doing this, glad I got Cooper to do this, sometimes it gets a bit overwhelming and you loose a bit of interest, great to keep it moving forward. Re: 60 Micro Bus
Saw this yesterday and it's looking great and will be a real gem when it is finished. I especially like that Ian is considering just clear coating it for that rat look...

Moved down to the Fab 3 factory while the Covid thing is going on, rented a spot there, so im back on the 15 window, bunch of grinding and welding then managed to paint underneath, ran out of paint, I thought a litre would shit it in
