After a few years of being used for storage, I have the bus cleaned out and ready for some work to begin.

Re: '63 11 window
I haven’t finished assembly the full hoops on the rotisserie yet so haven’t trialled putting it on an angle at this stage.warb wrote:very nice!, have a shot with the side arms and the bus at an angle?
I am going to weld a heap of braces inside the bus next the replace the roof and repair the gutters, once this is done and the top half of the bus is solid I will finish assembling the hoops which bolt together

That's next in my list, more for the C pillar, rather than the roof.MID WEST DUBBER wrote:Started welding some bracing in today to keep the body square when I remove the roof..

Re: '63 11 window
Continuing with the bracing today, this should keep everything square. One more section at the rear hatch and then I am ready to make a start on removing the roof

I need to repair a heap of gutter, the air box needs some repair and the roof skin and rear strengthening bow is bent because the previous owners decided to jump on the roofD-Train wrote:Jesus! Big job!!! What’s the plans for the roof??
I have one of the new silver weld through primer roof skins. Going to be a big job but I want to get this sorted first

I think that was mentioned prior wasn’t it? Sunroof? Or full time top?
