Hey Matt on this the resistor isn’t for taking the voltage from 12 to 6volts it’s to manage the resistance from the bay sender to the split gauge. It’s meant to keep things accurate and I’m assuming because the split sender had more resistance than the bay sender hence the extra Ohms.
It’s not accurate to the full mark with the resistor fitted but is accurate to empty.

splitthis wrote:Beatts I love it. Great colour choice, looks awesome on the stockies too.
Cheers Matt.
Pearl white was what Martin, Cooper and I could match based on the original colour. Either way yeah it definitely looks right.
The razor is pearl white too, great colour and looks really different in different light.

A beautiful thing. Well done
Squat, place chin on chest, tuck head and tip forward, shoulders connect with ground and back follows through, legs go over the top and feet land on the ground. That's how I roll!

Thanks Gents.
I’m extremely happy with how it all came together and it drives nicely. It’s actually better/nicer to drive than my bay single cab.

I’ve always wondered how the Ute looks from behind rolling down the road, just thought it wouldn’t cost so much to find out

Original plates too.

My fine is over $400 and that would have helped pay for the kingpins on my 67.

Oh well can’t complain I did the crime after all.

Jeez that’s rich! I was 57 in a 50, I guess it goes up at 10km over. Lessons learned.
