More work ahead.
This tar/bitumen underbody shit proved to be a real battle, only thing that got it off was manual labour.

Woohoo, lets weld some new shit in.
I made myself go to the shed every Tuesday night at 7pm and stay there until 1am so i could get this bad boy moving.
My wife had already told me that i would never finish this thing, probs the best thing she ever said, as i now had to prove here wrong.

Some weeks mates would come over and keep me company, hold this hold that, drink this drink that, great times.
Nothing like the satisfaction when you cut rust out and then then new metal is all in place.

Not sure why, but i decided to make the outrigger supports with RHS and flat sheet, likewise i used RHS for the in between chassis sections too, think i liked the thoughts of the strength. Looking back, sure it all worked, but it also created work, who was i to think the Germans didnt get it right in the first place

These little weld clamps proved and still prove to be the best things i ever bought at Volksfest, from Patrick Brown from memory.

Well thats enough for one day, i know youve all seen it before, if there is any interest i will continue the load up to completion.

Cheers
