Re: 58 mingo mango
Finished off the other cargo door
Also been installing a bit of sound deadening as well
Might have a crack at some cargo door rubbers as well
Also got the next piece in the clamp trying to flatten it off, from many yrs of moisture and heat buckling it up
Heat gun seems to be working at this stage, next option is give it a bath in water and let it dry with weight on it

I had the same problem with the ovals door cards. I ended up soaking them on a concrete slab then placed a nice big timber board on top with lots of weights on top of that. I left them like that for a couple of weeks. They turned out perfect.braddick wrote: ↑Sun Aug 20, 2023 6:30 pm Finished off the other cargo door

I’ve seen the whiteboard up on the wall of Champs dust free engine building room. There’s all these names in blue whiteboard texta under Brads name which is written in permanent marker.
Ideas man

Re: 58 mingo mango
Robbing Peter to pay Paul
Removed my lower bulkhead rubber Matt in the 63 to put in the mango
The one thing that is not on the repro list plus og is always better
Not a lot gets seen in the 63 with camping interior Had a few tears in it but on a whole pretty dam good these are normally toast in old buses, but my 63 has og floor and prob never been off the rd for long was still nice and flexible
Wasn’t till I removed it remembered that the spare tyre bit in the bulkhead is slightly different and the rubber needed too slightly stretch a bit to fit the 58 mango

This is one great bus, can’t wait to see this flying down the road.
You know it won’t be as quiet as your 63 with all those bullet holes whistling in the breeze.
