Had a few days back on this, got a new toy, a laser level and it’s working out a treat

Also going to have a go at saving the Panel Van front piece, it’s a bit rusty but I’m going to use it, I’ll be trying to use a lot of s/hand pieces on this, don’t want it rusty but do want it old looking

Thanks Rusty, I have it set up to the roof gutters, have put marks on the walls around the garage so you can move the laser from side to side, perfect in the house garage were you can turn the lights off, certainly not great in the day light , I think it is accurate enough within 1or 2 mm, game changer for me
The roof gutters, load bed, doglegs and toolbox are all on the same plane, as in all are level, and the cabin seams and bulkhead are all 90 degrees to that
I actually think it would be now easier to make one from scratch instead of cleaning up rusty stuff, how you go about getting it registered well that’s another story

Im just building a pallet to send a new chassis and all panels to build a bus to New Zealand so yes its happening...

First test fit of the front panel, not quite right yet don’t think I have the tops of the A pillars in the right spot yet
