Planning to build a trailer to tow behind our 59 panel.
Have been looking at westfalia trailers for ideas then this rear cut turned up.
59 panel with original cargo doors and rear hatch.
Want to wheels in original wheel arch area so will to do some planning on design.
Any feedback or pictures of similar builds would be awesome

Re: 59 Panel into trailer
How about like a shorty bus except with just the front window section and nose section and one cargo door, with front and rear safaris

id reconsider the arch position, move it more to centre, too much weight on the ball me thinks..

Re: 59 Panel into trailer
The best looking one I’ve seen basically had another rear end put on the front. Use a pair of rear corners with no taillights and then just fill the middle with flat sheet metal. If you do want a hatch on that end use an ambulance style hatch so there’s no window and it will look nice and clean.
