And a few pretty cool parts arriving at Champs workshop thanks to his contacts in Germany…so stoked to have such awesome people helping me with this bus, really grateful for all the help and advice I’ve received from everyone so far as I’m sure I’ll need plenty more as it progresses!!

Re: 57 11 Window - Penny
Updates on the last few weeks...
Seats frames blasted, etch primed and powdercoated before dropping off to Allan Smith along with covers, padding, handles, etc - should have them back in the next week or so George (Fresh Kustoms) finished off my front beam and shipped off to Champs for me Brad (Bus n Bug) finished off headliner, cards etc...just waiting on some brackets and bits to complete a couple of kick panels for the rear seats and that completes the kit for Allan to fit for me!

Re: 57 11 Window - Penny
shit tonne of progress mate, keep the updates coming.
Just so you know, your bus wouldn’t have had seat clamps on the two inner legs of the middle seat. It should however have plates welded to the floor where the legs sit. I think there’s a couple of pics on my looooong slow build.

Re: 57 11 Window - Penny
Anthony continues to smash it out...
Engine bay all sorted - metalworks completed (ski ramps, supports, battery trays, etc) Big thanks to Coop for helping me out with a donor heater tube Y Piece, needed a bit of extra love to get it in but I feel like nothing's too hard for Anthony to work out! Cargo Area finished off with some final metalworks and finishing touches before getting it all in epoxy Cab Area didn't need much work at all thankfully, dash was pretty straight, few minor dents here and there but all sorted and in epoxy Underside has had a heap of little mods done to it - reinforcement plates for seats to be bolted through the floor for added strength along with seatbelt mounts and captive nuts, a bunch of items to suit what Champs has planned, electric heater flap, creative engineering steering setup test fit, etc - Anthony plans to have this all prepped and in epoxy by the end of the weekend!
