Very smick! Hows the whirl around your ears with that big hole in the roof! The charm youre wielding now is probably from the daffy grin that goes with driving the dream. Have a good one~~!

Thanks Guys,I have a few future plans Darren,I'd like to do a stroker to generate some decent torque,it kind of struggles with a stock 1600 and the L bug box on hills, but the 1600 is brand new so I'll just chuck on some dual carbs to go with the exhaust for the moment.I'd also like to do a custom camper interior for something diffrent, nothing that can't be returned to standard but would be great fun to get away in for a weekend.

Yeah,i'll agree with that.I just put a 2110 into the beetle and it's a weapon but still want more.Where does it end though, bigger engine, upgrade brakes etc etc.Sometimes I think you gotta say enough and just cruise and enjoy the experience for what it is.

Awesome stuff Damo - congratulations on finally getting it on the road and enjoying it!

Touch wood now the ragtop is close to sorted, and the samba running nicely....you'll be able to spend less time tinkering, and more time cruising!

Hey Al,everythings pretty much sorted, the only thing now is to pull the 2110 out to do the main seal and its sweet.
