Hi Jigs CONGRATULATIONS!
Onya for giving another bus a chance to live again...for we are not owners of vintage steel...but caretakers of them for future generations.
I see this and what others are restoring in other parts of the world and man are we spoilt here in OZ!
Look forward to seeing the progress shots-Wayne:)

splitty
I bought a 58 and a 61 the other day and was critical of what I had to work with. If you get your bus finished you should get some sort of award from the queen. Dave

yeah, ours might be abit better to start with, but if your going to do a nice resto, your going to replace the bottom 6 inches of 95% of vans anyway...and just think of all the time and money your going to save in grinding wheels, not having to cut anything off the bottom, because nature has aready taken care of it....good luck with it man..

my original plan was to ship one over, but with the price of shipping then import tax registering the van etc its not cheap, so i thought putting this money into replacing the panels that way i know what work has been done and in the long run its going to last. well thats the hope anyway. its not like im going to sell her anyway. even a running split here go for
