Nice bus mate. Are you from Forbes? How did you come across this bus. Real nice find. Just curious cos my girlfriend grew up in Forbes. Good luck with the bus. 8) 8) 8)

Yes read that just wondered if he was from Forbes and how he found it.

Never heard of Dave Hill From Slade (so here it is merry christmas)? To scale him down would be a great sin. Deal wih Dave.

that looks about right, your motor is a 1600 isnt it , do you have an external oil cooler?? if you fit one of those merc ones steve uses your temp will drop around 25 degress, my 1904 with a cooler doesnt get over 83 degress on the hotest days..
but yeah i think around 100 to 120 is fine but anything over that you might want to slow down to cool down

Ryan mate I push 120-135c on really hot days like 40-45c+ ambient when I drive to melbourne in late november every year in the 356. I find that as long as you change the oil every 1500-2000 miles and whenever you have given it an extended thrashing at high heat with fresh oil like on my melbourne runs, all seems to be o.k. Hope this helps mate.
