You might also like to try an air powered rattle gun with a socket and an impact screwdriver phillips head bit in that. It worked on mine after figuring if a rattle gun can remove wheeel nuts then they should also remove pesky lil screws. Good luck Tonz
Wanted..Barny bits or 60's Supercharger other than Judson

another good thing to try is getting an old screw driver that fits really well , then get a nice big shifter or spanner that will fit across the flats of the screw drivers handle , use the shifter as a lever to get more drive through screw driver to the bolt, make sure you put pressure on the end of the screw driver to keep it in the bolt head. it should crack , if not try that with heat and it should come out

then go out and buy some anti size or copper grease for the refitment of the bolts

wow big job , lucky there is 2 of you guys taking it on well done. i have some wide 5 type 3 drums with backing plates etc i am not using anymore , but at some point someone has ground out abit of the inner spline on one of the drums, to compensate that i used a washer to bring the drum back out alitte. i must admitt they are not the best drums in terms of meat but they stopped my bus fine , they have near new shoes with new slave cylinders but i want the slave cylinders other than that if you are interested make me an offer including the post . i think the drums could use a skim so i dont expect to much coin for them but at the same time they are not free
