Hockers and i have been mates for years, and he used to give me heaps when i got my 1st split, was around 11 years ago. And he also hassled me about riding a longboard...
Haha, now he has a split and rides old mals...how the times have changed.
As a great man once said "built for cruising"
Heres a pic of my old split, must admit it was pretty rusty, andrew dodd started to refuse to work on it, told me to get rid of it. Should have bought rockys singlecab

this is the 65' split that was for sale on ebay probably about 3 months back, maybe more? Its name from the previous owner was "harry" it was for sale as "65 deluxe bus - rare" At first i was in the running to but it at $6000, but like all ebay splits that say rare and deluxe it soon went higher and sold for i think $17000 approx? Anyways thats what i know. p.s cool bus

hockers bus
Brucey thanks for posting that. going to get around to it but not to savvy at this sort of thing. bus came from central Vic. stored 20 years. definately not delux as was originally advertised, but did come with delux trim etc. not bad nic. very honest. very little rust and only a few things missing. paid too much, but hey you do get what you pay for and after resto on brakes and steering its just awesome. so we will just have to strech out the enjoyment factor and put some k's on this baby to get our monies worth. its not all about a bargain though, but its idiots like me that pump up the value tooo much. Anyhoo.. first stop Narooma...
