You're right.
A set of Empi 5-spokes painted black may be a goer although they're a 15x5.5" rim.
Apparently Mercedes makes a 16" steelie than can be found if you look far enough.
They may be the deal.
I have to admit a weakness for Sprintstars but they just aren't the wheel for this project.
Too much bling...can't have that now!
I've hear that quazi is thinking of making up some "Hurst-style" bumpers and I love that look but I don't think they were ever designed to stop roos and the bar I put on mine has got to stand up to REPEATED hits.
My Rodeo had a 4 kangaroos + 1 wallaroo tally and only the last roo did more damage than broken spotlights as it clipped the side of the bar and flicked around, leaving a tail shaped ding in the driver's door.
Suffice to say, none lived to tell the "tail"......
Incidentally, Matty, are those Fuchs shown above a small-5 VW pattern or the Porsche stud pattern?
Also, do you know rough prices for all those rims?

kombi1976, Recently bought a set of the BRMs in bay window stud pattern for the Ratmuller ute so i didnt have to use adapters anymore..It gave an additional 1/2" of clearance tire to body..
Personally,I like dark coloured rims on light pastel coloured cars...
PS...Whats your first name..? Or is it..Kombi.......Mr 1976...?

That's ok, matty.
I know what you're getting at and I agree.
It's very frustrating that so many of the really good designs aren't available in small-5.
It's not the stud pattern is new or anything and as a braking alternative it's so superior.
I'll tell ya, I REALLY like those RDW rims.
If you blacked in between the spokes as well they'd look very trick.

Well, there isn't any latest really.
Steve has been busy finishing some other people's buses and should soon start to reassemble mine.
I did score a Bay Microbus middle seat through a contact for the right price.
Here's a pic:
We also decided on the interior material and colour scheme.
It'll be the Palight material Nick66 has been fitting in a number of buses and we'll have black below the wasteline as kick panels and door panels and grey above for the walls and roof liner.
The seat fabric is a hardy synthetic fabric with a vinyl backing so it should be pretty well impervious to little fingers, a necessary consideration with 3 Kombi-obsessed little boys.
It's red with a vertical black thread running through the weave.
Here's a look at the samples of the trim colours and seat fabric against the paint colour:
So the front drivers seat, front passenger bench and middle seat are now in for retrimming and we'll do the back seat as soon as the rock'n'roll bed has been lengthened and fitted as well as getting a flat cushion made up for engine shelf in the same cloth so the bed is even.
That way my mate, who's a motor trimmer, will know how big to fab it all.
Aside of that I also scored me a

So between now and mid September she'll be resprayed, reassembled and made turn-key to register for the new little tacker.
for all those who think that a new baby will kiss goodbye your current automotive project.........the government just raised the baby bonus to 5 grand!
Yep; 5 thousand smackers when the little tacker pops out.
All you have to do is do the MAN's job at the beginning of the nine months and hold her hand at the end of it and it's a sweet 5 gees to the project of your choice with no more effort.
And as long as my wife doesn't see this.............what's that, Darl?
No, it's just a joke......no, really, it's just a joke.......OUCH!!!!!!

i may only be 14, but i do know that if u wife sees that us in stife bro
