whole ute blasted then into epoxy primmer,IRS fitted to the rear, under side painted black raptor, new left and right platform trays in ready for engine bay paint.
Over the comming weeks the rear cargo bed will be going on and the cab will be painted, the above photos are only a handfull of the 200 ish photos that we have taken of this rebuild.
Some of the panels that have been used on this ute have been made in our workshop,we are able to make side panels for utes, double and kombis, bposts, treasure chest skins, rear corners other panels to follow,
The panel shop i run was originally set up for smash work and slowly the vws are taking over,i have been into volkswagens for 20 years and to combine vws with my work is pretty good.
With the prices of these old beasts going up and the availability of most of the panels there is no reason why no split cant be saved

been a busy week on the ute etch primmed and seam sealed engine bay and luggage bay ready for colour
engine bay painted in black 2k,luggage bay sprayed in black raptor(we use this because of its durability it is salt resistant and does not chip it wears off) using normal 2k paint just chips and scratches to easy
