some of the old companies had some great colour combo's, sorry a slight hijack of thread but nice pics showing roof same as bottom halve.

I was thinking of signwriting as, say, an electrical contractor but that idea is too old school.
Actually, my wife has a business selling vintage fashion accessories and I had made the offer for signwriting early on. Now I'm afraid the panel looks too good to touch. I'd like to write off the cost of the resto somewhere though, except I might have to own up to the real cost. I've told her all this only cost a "couple of hundred ".

Thanks for the pics. I checked out a few similar photo galleries before making the colour scheme. I needed the confidence that it had been done before. And the sewing machine! "Hey Betty"'s main business is handbags so maybe just a bloody big handle attached to the roof would be the go.
And Tony, I'm sure I'm a bit older but thankfully not 'too old'. Unless of course the REAL couple of hundred is discovered....
