crewcabconnection wrote:Cool, figured it looked a bit strange up there. I'll get the chassis number and you can do more sluth work. If you can't have an early one, then might as well have a late one. It's defo comming up better than I thought...but unlike Darren, it won't be blinged...very simple outside...trying to go the wow inside. Soon it won't matter where we go for a coffee run, will all be on tap. A few more bits showed up this week....can't wait...but with hindsight...I should have build a Double Door.....ah well next time ay.

Cheers Steve...

You will need to go casual, there are teachers here that have been on the lsit for 15 years, they are still casual but have permanent positions...plenty of long term block casual positions...too nice a place to work full time anyway...

Bugger...so I got my BRMs fitted with new rubber. Wanted to go skinny profile, but being a 'commercial' and the fact I'll be hauling some weight, have to go taller...so off the Kuhmo shop to part with more money....

all good...

Take off naff old rims, replace with new BRMs, take a photo and go yum....not.

The spring plates in my IRS back end need to be moved as there aint enough clearance to get the wheels on....Grrrrrrr....so yet another 'modification' needed. Not a huge drama, but not doable today....gutted.

Was hoping for a Kodak moment....

Buses...who said this was fun.

reckon he'll move north one of these days...you seen his split-limo yet?? now that's a piece of engineering ... like the bay-limo, but harder. lol. Fixing a shitty old panel is nothing pffff. Lets weld 6 buses together and stick a supercharged 6 in there ... reckon he's been hoodriding since well before it was 'cool'....

Hi DEAN. I'd just like to say your SPLITTY is looking 'FULLY SICK'! :P
The progress reports and pic's have made the ride through DSK even more exciting. Anyone who gets the privledge to see your bus in the flesh is gonna go 'DOING DOING DOING...' Frikken awsome DUDE!
I was planing on restoring a 65 ground up and shit myself after sanding 3% so bailed out. Have ultimate respect for amount of work done mate.
WELL DONE on job so far and keep them pic's com'n. DAVO. :D

Thanks, but there's a lot of smoke and mirrors in it, still, will serve it's purpose in the next year ... I really need a DD next, but that will be hard, as you seem to have the only noice - get in a drive - one around. Not sure I want to do this again for a while...even though I've been 'conservative' with the resto, it's still a money pit.....but happy so far.

Will be even happier when it's re-assembled....hanging out for that photo.
