61 Dual Cab

Post by gazztan »

Due to a very helpful chap on this forum I was told about a DC coming up for sale here in Adelaide. Its a 61 twin taillight model which was found up north in Coober Pedy where it sat in the nice dry climate for about 30 years.
I have been looking for a DC for so long, I had given up and bought a 15 window walkthru from the US just 3 weeks ago. The opportunity was unexpected but I took it and did the deal today.
She is completely original with original engine, etc.
Does have some rust in the sills, front apron and bottom floor but overall in pretty nice condition.
Picking her up in the morning so will post pics tomorrow.

Gaz.

P.S. Know anyone who wants a LHD 15 window walkthru?

Does it have an M Options plate on the bulk head?

Gaz,

Looks like you got yourself a good buy there...

The gates look to be fairly straight thanks to the timber slats on the inside...

Cheers Tonz
