Thanks everyone for the positive and encouraging comments!!!
I don't know if it has an M-code. There are 2 little holes behind the drivers seat on the bulkhead where the plate might have been attached. Not there anymore.
I'm in 2 minds about how to restore this. Not sure whether to keep it stock or go with a 2 tone paint job, lowered, ball joint front end, IRS and a set of stainless belt trim.
Have seen some great lookin DC's done this way.
Any advice greatly appreciated.
Will certainly keep everyone posted on progress and will probably have plenty of questions along the way.
Such a great pool of knowledge and talent in this group.
Cheers.

Definitely looks the goods - congrats on a great find. Plenty of help available on here.

If I were to be bold enough to make a suggestion it would be along the lines of just to sit on it for a little while before committing to a course of action. All the best with it.

Paint it a stock colour, lift it as high as it will go and fit a set of 6.70 x 15 crossply tyres on the stock rims.....what a great look that would be. :D

Could be the oldest DC in AUS.
Not many glass taillight DC,s around.
Not sure when the first ones hit AUS?
It is so crispy clean.

That is amazing.
Stay stock, at least for the moment.
Fix any rust and get her running.
Then buff the hell out of the existing paint until it shines like a penny in a chimney sweep's ear.
Where am I when these deals come through?
Cheers & God Bless
