59 Split 11 Window - Resto
Hi Guys
First up, sorry for taking so long to put the old girl on DSK. It has been on KC for a while and I just had to get around to putting it on here
I finally found a Splitty from the evilbay. It was in the middle of nowhere in Crows Nest and was quite an adventure to find. We will be slowly restoring her back to her former glory.
All the history I know on her is that she has been undercover in a garage for 15 years at Crows Nest as a cubby house.
She has been fully painted in house paint over that time (hence the flowers) which has done a pretty good job of protecting it from the weather.
Here a couple of piccys of the trip and of us, starting to strip her down.
By the way the primer that has been put on is just to protect the bare metal in till it’s ready for further loving soon
Hopefully that’s enough piccys to look at till next update

Hi Nicknickw86au wrote:Nice one - looks pretty solid.
Was this where the semaphores would have been?
Are you gonna try and get a set and get them working again or would it be too hard if they've been welded up?
Cheers
Nick.
I say we will be putting semaphores back in the old girl
They are just a couple of little tack welds
