Is there a hidden "for sale" section on the above forum....if so I think I might register.

Now you can buy all the rubbish we don't want, like the rust heaps, the badly patched(welded) and the bondo buckets.

Like Eben said, you can gladly have them. The nice ones will stay here. :D

99% of buses from South Africa are rust and bondo free,

Most have never been welded,

No disrespect to anyone, but how about the South Africans go argue your differences on the South African forum.

No show, the problem is,same as with you guys, that a lot of buses has been exported. So what we have left is the ones that we won't sell because we know that there aren't too many left.If anyone tells you that a 45 year old car has no rust, you'll have to be very suspicious.

I have yet to come across a bus that doesn't need work,or paint. And the worst part of it all is the parts. With Brazil now not making parts anymore,it's becoming even harder to find parts. You either have to source parts from the UK or USA at ridiculously high prices.

You have to look hard and far to get a decent resto project, let alone a Bus that can be driven straight away.Either that,or you have to buy one that has already been restored. And with the current economic woes, importing OR exporting makes almost no financial sense.Even in SA the exporters are now battling to get their cars sold(not that I feel sorry for them),that they are offering it to the locals at greatly reduced prices to get them sold.

The party is over, and they know it.They bought a lot of cars, and are now are stuck with them, and their money is running out.My gripe with exporters are that they make a lot of money off people that could have sold their bus overseas themselves, but because the sellers did not want to export their cars, they sold it to a "local" person, that then makes a huge profit, and for all purposes,rips-off the buyer overseas as well.
