Another addict from BrisVegas

Post by Ted2 »

Hey Guys

Thought it was time to introduce myself after lurking on this site for a while trying to get my head around buying a split. I used to have a 67 ex-PMG panel a long time ago. Now looking for an 11 window daily driver. I haven't got the space to do a full resto, so looking for a bus that I can enjoy and extend a little bit of TLC to.

Cheers & Beers

Hi ted,

Whats your budget for a daily driver? There's another interesting thread on here you should read about resto costs etc.

Cheers

Thanks for the welcome guys.

Steve, I'm sort of flexible when it comes to the daily driver. I'm not after a show car. The ideal bus for me would be one that I can enjoy for a few years and then bring it back to life. I been doing a lot of research on this site on resto costs etc. A few years back I restored a little british car (LBC) with rust in all the usual places. Ouch $$$ !

Welcome ted,

Not sure what happened, but posted before about your old panel, was it blue white and red, did you buy it off your boss?

Hey ByronBus. Yea not sure what happened with your post. Must have been some sort of IT gremlin.

My panel was a 67 and was painted tan over the PMG red. I parted with it around Armidale NSW.
