Another Newbie Brit

Post by jvm »

Hi, I've just joined up so better stick some pics up :D

I've got a 55 Oval and a 66 split, though we're heading your way soon (Sydney) so the Oval will soon be up for sale  , but where I go, my split goes so just waiting for some quotes for shipping. Thought about a load of brown paper and a few stamps but not sure if I can get her into the post box.

Heres my split at Le Bug Show in Belgium a few years ago

and what she's like now (rubbish pic and the cab step is on now)

Yep, got a job offer and just sorting it all out now so hoping to be over within about 4 months on a 457 visa.
Van won't be running again by then as this has happened pretty quick so will have to teach my other half to weld.....will give her something to do while she's settling in

Some local knowledge and advice would be good.
Until we get over there we're using the powers of Domain.com and google earth to look at possible places....might be way off with how we think the areas are but we have a little time as company will put us up for a month to give us chance to look around properly.

Any `blunt` info on the places to steer clear of would be appreciated :D
