Guys, don't go anywhere!!!!!!

I actually posted this as a bit of a giggle as I thought no one would actually consider going and getting it.

I rang my buddy and asked what the deal with it is, the ute is 600kms away from Alice and 300kms is on dirt. The ute is on Aboriginal land and if you went to get it you would be in a world of trouble.

If you are serious,. Dave can do a deal with the elders and get the ute to Alice Springs for about $2000.00.

Sorry if I have caused a drama, but as I said don't go there, but if you are serious and are willing to pay the shipping costs I can arrange to get it.

A permit is required for a member of the public to visit any community on the APY Lands, as they are freehold lands owned by the Aboriginal people.

permit= 6 slabs of VB

Yeah I'd wager if you showed up with smething to bata (I won't proffer as to what) you'd score it very cheaply.

There's a cheap and guilt free solution.
A few cheap TVs, some cheap DVD players and some AFL grand finals and highlights vids, Hollywood action movies and kids programs on DVD.
Won't cost much if you get the Kmart or Target brands and those sort of movies always go down well, especially the football stuff.
Hell, you could even do some groundwork and call the elders before you go.
They usually have stuff they want that can't be had outside of a capital city and would be eternally grateful if you paid for them and brought them in person.
Cheers & God Bless

Getting Close.

Seriously, Dave said that probably $500,00 worth of meat would secure the ute, and for that the kids would help him load it on the truck.

Guys if you want it, it can be done.

at first i thought you were nuts barny, but after a second look at the pics, apart from the roof, it looks great rust wise. do a few hours a night with hammer, dolly's, welder and shrinking disc on the bullet holes and you'll have a really great bus in no time.

someone please save it.
