Hey Leroy, was that you holding the bumper at the show, if I new that I would have said hello, sorry mate, almost bought that bumper my self.
Cheers, Mike
Yeah that was Leroy and I talking to Hoves. Leroy was holding my bumper
Would have been nice to meet you properly, we should arrange for something a little closer to christmas maybe?
Keep it up, Leroy. Looks like the condition of mine before i got stuck into it. Tired, old but all mine....to enjoy.
Wow, there must be a few of the double lights bus's from the 60', that i know about thanks to this site. I think we might have to start up our own private club....heh heh...
BTW. If your still having a go at the Paintstripping, this is what i did and workd very well. Use cling wrap or glad wrap, buy some cheap stuff, after you brush on the stripper, cover that entire section with wrap ... and push down or tap, to seal it mainly around the edges. What this does is speed up the process. But, the part i like is. Don't take it off, but peal away a small section scrap it, continue to do this. You'll find after a few goes. You'll be using the cling wrap to clean the scraper. Creating less mess.
Mate, can I suggest you take out the glass before you get too far into the cutting and grinding. You cant get hot metal out of windows...dumb experience speaking here Hope you can find a buyer, seems like a reasonable price. Cheers
