As Al couldn't access an inner strengthener section in time (and didn't have time for a sheet metal shop to have one bent up), he used a small profile box section to provide the necessary rigidity for the gutter/roof section
After welding both sides were seam sealed in hope rust doesn't re-occur any time in the future!
After lots of trial fitting and trimming the roof section was tacked in place

Finally the long butt weld for the roof section is complete and has been ground back
Apart from the dents and buckles that were in the roof before I even started, no warping occurred which I was happy about
The rest of the roof will be sanded back to bare metal now then conditioned before beating/filler work commences

Here are some more piccys
Last bit of rust in the roof (autocraft section wasn't quite long enough to reach this bit)
Cut out, new section welded in and ground smooth
Got started on the left cab door rust today
After blasting it was a little worse than I expected
The small rust section towards the rear of the door was tackled first
Both the outside and inside rust were repaired (forgot pic of inside!)

I finally got around to going down on the weekend to Al's to do some sanding
Sanded the tank back, it was then epoxy primed and painted in beige grey
Wheels received the same treatment with base/clear applied after primer
The rusty upper cargo door catch plate had to be resurrected before being trial fitted in place
The bend on the catch plate was cut off and a new metal section with appropriate bend was spot welded to the original
The engine access hatch work started today
A little more work and the inside will be ready for primer
