Not at all mate, I did a bit with my 56 but nothing like this project.
If it wasn't for the guy pictured in the welding shot I would be lost, he tells me what to do and I do what I can. He is a gun at this sort of thing.
I am certainly learning alot along the way and what a bus to learn on!!!

That was moistys first time ever to work on a bus, but I must admit he picked it up fast and did a good job. As you can see in the photo he is proud of his work!!
Now he wants a split of his own.
Start saving Moisty!!!

It amazes me what can be restored. And it kills me knowing that only 3 years ago i crushed a 55 in better condition then that one in my own backyard cause i couldnt get anyone to take it, and get this, it had safaris aswell!!
Shame on me.

Shame on you indeed!!
I would've taken that for my kids as a long term project.
Nah......cest la vie!
There comes a time when you have to cut line.
At least you didn't send it to the UK......

Nasty, that is a massive shame!!
I think if your willing to put he time/money anything can be restored, especially when all the panels and parts are available.

Just got back from Adelaide.
While over there I picked up a 2.5L Subaru motor, have decided to go the conversion on the bus. It will be delivered next week.
Heading out to the bus for a couple of days this week so will show more progress.
Also recieved my belly pans thanks heaps Greenbus.
