Looks great Zeus- I'm a real fan of Dove Blue.

Check out this link which I found as a great guide to Australian colours and years- although alittle late for you it's one to make note of.

Hope you're manageing to keep the pace up on the project. You get them in paint and you think you're nearly there; then come the rubbers.....!

Thank for that.

I put in an order for the rubbers, safaris etc the other week but am waiting on a reply.

They should be all in.

Then it's time to start fitting.

Well FINALLY!!! It has been moved.

This is where she is nestled at the upholsterers.

All looks good although the right Semaphore doesn't seem to want to come all the way back in after it is used.

Thanks for the comments, this is a very nice car, I have thought of selling it recently but have come too far and spent too much so I really should stick it out.

It needs a serious clean and polish as it has been sitting at the electricians shed for a year.

I am thinking some polished BRMS. I would like to go bigger rims but it all seems too hard.

Went and took some interior shots before the work begins.
Hopefully this won't take too long...

Picked up the bus from the Upholsters yesterday and it is now at a mates shed to fit out with rubbers etc etc.

Not totally happy with the upholsterer to be honest so will be getting a few things touched up.

Have the front and rear safaris fitted.

Will be heading up tommorrow and Monday to hopefull hook in to the finishing bits.

Will get some photos and chuck on early in the week.

Front bench is completed. I'm not real happy with the way the VW symbol and 1956 is done so will be taking it somewhere to get it embroided properly.

Pulled all the rims off and gave them a sand back will be giving them a coast of white and will buy some hub caps.

I have spent the last 5 days on this ole girl and she is almost ready for rego and looks fantastic.

Heading out again tomorrow and it should be basically done, so will get somemore pics.

Because of a few changes in my schedule that have happened, I could possibly be thinking of selling unfortunately. :(
