Thanks for the compliments all ..makes it all worthwhile ...didnt keep a track of the hours on this but have been with the Desert Splitty ...226 for the panelbeater to get it ready for paint and it wasnt all that rusty and was well sorted by Ian before we got it..plus Gav and would have put in half that again by the time its back together..youve got to be addicted!!!

Very much a learning process for us , Wal the one on the buff is an old acrylic man ..reckons he may as well sand it with a piece of newspaper!!!...mind you with his skills and patience hes got it looking spot on...love the Autoglym high definition wax..

no its poly-urethane we clearcoated in poly-u after initial coloursand with 2000...planning another resto of a pmg ute which i will do in poly-u over epoxy primers/fillers ..but will play with a flattening agent in the colour to get an original type finish ...Al would have done this me thinks
