My 1960 11 window
Finally took it for it's roadworthy today and it sailed straight through, so then onto the QLD transport place for a quick check over and all passed....it's on the road !
So, again, many many thanks to my Cornish expat mate who has spent countless hours under the bus, always with a smile and always willing to share his extensive knowledge.
I really only supplied coffee and a helping hand, the rest is pretty much down to Flipflop.
I've been waiting for today for a little while and resisited the temptation of taking it out before it was legal, so it was such a great feeling today to out the kids in the back and sit with the Mrs and cruize around the beaches here.
Already had people taking photo's when we parked up and some nice comments and lots of waving !
Thanks again to all who have encouraged / helped and generally pointed in the right direction.
It's proper bootiful and we love it
Leroy, I guess we can sort a cruize out now ?
Best
Ian

Hey Brizzle
Thanks for the kind words, but to be honest, my bit was easy. You had to take the leap and agree to doing all that work rather than buying a ready made one, it's the difference between a home cooked pasty and a microwave meal.
I wasn't even going to mention powder puff blue, it's a great looking bus and great colours, just I'm stuck in the 70's with the poo brown lowlight.
