G'day Mr. Frog,

Maybe a bit awkward getting away for a drive this Sunday as we have friends up from the big city till late morning Sunday then Mr & Mrs Baldy are popping round on there back from visiting the outlaws.

Perhaps you could pop round and show the 21 DLX to the Baldy Fam, I'll speak to Flipflop and see if they're free and maybe a few beers again???

Syd's photo shoot 25 Sept 09

Post by Brewmaster »

Yesterday Ian and I went for a reccy for the upcoming cruise from Caloundra in October.

Decided to take the camera and take a few shots of Ian's 1960 bus on Alexandra Headland along the way.

Here are a few of the pics taken ...................

Only took 150 odd pics .................... then Ian said we had to go home ....... I was only getting started ......

....... and sussed out a few more sites for a shoot in Caloundra for the Cruise on the 18th October.

Ian wanted a few pics to send to his dad in the UK.

I only take raw shots as I haven't dabbled with PhotoShop programs to play with images.

Want to take some arty-farty ones when I get another chance using Caloundra as a backdrop.

Fantatic shots Brett, I'm lucky enough to now have a disk with all 150 ++ shots !

Was a great way to spend a few hours yesterday, got a few waves and a few nice comments about the bus.
The cruize is looking to be a good day out and the proposed route with a backdrop like in the pics is as good as it gets I reckon.
Bad day to be wearing no hat and a black t shirt though, must remember to at least take a hat and stop wearing Old Skool t shirts !

Thanks again to Brett !!

Yes mate.it's one of my favorites as well, there are a couple more where the road signs frame the bus which are a bit special as well.
The spot where that pic was taken is going to be a part of the cruize route on the 18th, hopefully we'll have a whole lot of VW's there !
