Now have computer

Post by volksmanharry »

Gday DSK members. I have been a member since early 2008 but have had limited access to a computer, but now I have a new job where the idiots have given me a computer with unlimited access,WOHOO!!
I have met some of you at various VW meets around South east Qld and at Valla last year, I own a 65 11 window that I bought off Kanaka last year. It was restored by Tony(Splits R Us) and is an absolute dream to own and drive. It won best modified kombi at the recent VW Action Day in Brissy. I have owned 5 splitties, a 64 Dormobile that I sold to flipflop a few years ago, a 64 single cab that i bought off splitsaviour in Tassie and have since sold to a buyer in Perth, a fully registered and going 66 panel that I owned in MtIsa in the late eighties that I towed to the local dump because we were leaving town and nobody wanted to buy it for $100, how times have changed, and lastly an 11 window found on a farm near Toowoomba that has since been sold to a buyer in Brissy. So as you can see I am not totally new to Veedubs and splitties. I currently own the splitty, 75 bay, 69 bay, 70 fastback, 70 notchback and a 2003 twin cab transporter. Looking forward to inputting to this forum on a regular basis.

Yep thats the one. Has a new interior and a few accessories added on but very hard to improve on the initial resto. Its all IRSed, front power assisted disc brakes and of course lowered. Absolute dream to drive. Used regularly for weddings and formals.
