- I know this is complete madness but I couldn't resist, I started drilling holes into the centre resinator baffle and I couldn't help myself.

exhaust update
exhaust work coming along nicely
ran the engine up to test the note and i was pretty happy, will post a vid when i get to it.
not happy with the tail pipes as they foul with the bumper, so I am going to re route the pipes out to the rear arches on both sides, keep you posted on that one, should be all done by Friday
Happy days, only three weeks to DOTVW 09 Sweet
threw the caps on for a look see too.

Dont feel bad about the VW symbol drilled in to the muffler baffle...
After the type 4 was fitted in my '67 ,I modified a stock type 4 exhaust to fit, by cutting the ends off and recapping them with the centres out of beetle hub-caps....
ps ...Not sure if anyone else has asked..but..Whats your real name..?
If we get to catch up at DOVW ,dont want to be saying "G'day GFresh..."
Are you going to trailer it or get a temporary permit for DOVW...?
Cheers
Tony

Modifying Tinware
Made a cardboard template today for the rear valance
I will have to sort out the area around the muffler as I go
not sure if I should run it behind or in front yet
see if I can fold up some sheet metal in the morning
a few more exhaust mods to come this week end and bit of luck that will be finished.
then onto some custom mirror work
Slowly coming together.
