HAHA yeah, a few lads drove it at Valla, I think you all are "Big engine " converts now  . Ride height is just nice and not cop bait at the second lowest setting, I've just got to fab up a few hard lines and run some cables and It's ready for a burn... should be a hoot!

HAHA How did I know that would be your first question  , But a good one as I hadn't measured it until now. It's 105mm at the bottom of the Steering rack input. Easy adjustments can be made on the spring preload of course but they are nearly at their lowest setting as you can see in the pics. Now to get the rear sorted.

Just to add, for anyone wondering, The mounting holes are 25mm apart, If i dropped it to the lowest setting it would have 80mm clearance AND I'm running a 175/55-15 , If a 165/50-15 OR a 165/45-15 is used this would drop to 50mm or less easily. I'm using a brake booster so this is as low as I can go due to the booster getting close to the floor, but I could easily run my brakes un boosted if i were super keen for slamm town.

Plenty of clearance , would not want to destroy a rack $$ what the ground to drip rail height thru centre of front wheel, just want to see comparison ..steering box with 100 mm clearance is about 61.5 inch to drip rail

I'll measure it later when I'm home , yeah the steering shaft and rack would be compromised with anything less than 80mm . TBH , I'm very happy it's just over/at 100mm on this setting as it's as low as I can go, the 175/55 tyre is as big as you could run too as the track is wider but not too wide as a stock split beam. Stock wheels would tuck nicely on this beam as my bay brakes have a good offset inwards compared to split drums. I'm happy to make measurements and give feedback to anyone interested as I found it quite hard to get any when I was looking at these.

Klause, It's 62.5 inch , I could get it to 62 if I wound the preload right down. A 165/50 -15 tyre would be about 61.5 odd inches height I reckon, but also brings that R+P down a bit more.
