you should have fun its a little different than surfing, more off the front foot than the back. Watch your wrists when you fall ;) try and keep the board on edge not flat.

Back from the snow and on to the build once more, Couldn't find a inner stiffener for the roof so i cut a section of rhs in half and welded that in to the gutter. next will be the final roof section.

Clamped on the roof section after drilling a thousand spot weld holes and got her in. Thought I get more warpage from the heat from such a long panel but all was good and the finished roof is done.

oh yes Cam, don't think this bus will be flexing any time soon with that roof stiffener welded in.
I'm now moving to the front of the bus fitting the nose, inner valance, side doglegs then its on the the cargo doors and then front doors. Heaps of rust repairs to do on the bottom of the cargo doors and front lower hinges too.

Started on the front rails, got them ready for the valance.

Cut out the old rusty bottom A-pillers making sure heaps of attention was payed to the position of them.
Image
Trial fit tacked in place having a good hard look at the doors and doglegs now to make sure panel gaps are right.

Thought I would work on the doors for a change, gave them a bead blast a little primer and starting cutting out the rusty bottoms, the inner lower hinge stiffener was shot so I fabed up a new section.

new section ready for welding in and on to the tricky hinge placement, was going to use pins and press them in but decided on bolts in case I need more adjusting later.

All painted in primer on to the other door, im running out of room on photobucket for my pics does any one know of another pic media storage I can use?

Dog leg time, I ended up getting the wolf berg west ones from the states as they were the thick lip versions and not mega pricey, fitment was 8 out of 10 on the easy scale.
I used a few bits of flat bar to keep the gaps right and tacked it in place.

Image

Other side done also had to mod the front door front hinge gap as it was massive!! I added a rolled section to it to get the gap back to a 5mm range.

got the gaps after heaps of torture bending the hinges!! and yes im giving the finger to those devil doors ;)
