Re: My turquoise eleven window bus
I got some time in the shed over the weekend. I bought a shrinker/stretcher and had a go at making the RH lower dogleg step section. I just did the rust converting so it looks a bit shitty. I also got a section of the floor welded in.

Re: My turquoise eleven window bus
got the cab floor pretty much finished, i had to make up the last bit of floor with a raised section for the pitman arm.
welded on a bit of the front edge the floor section didn't have.
just a bit of primer for now. I may get back to it at some stage and put some filler over the welds, I'm not sure if it's worth it

I only got a small bit done this arvo, just the lower bit of channel that retains the door seal.
bugger! I forgot to cut out that bit of steel on the dogleg so the seal can go there.

Re: My turquoise eleven window bus
i bolted up the front bumper and made up some brackets for the side mountings. the one on the Klassic fab dog leg was all over the place like a mad womens shit. The inner mounts on the bumper were stuffed so fixed them up. I'm pretty happy with the way it sits. I ended up welding in the sheet metal behind the step mounting brackets because the time the were lined up with the bumper they weren't sitting evenly in the cut out sections.
