:)and everything was bolted fitted with 1 or 2 screws , jailbars, int lights, bumpers, doorframe tops, steering colum, not for the lack of trying with the pop outs but shit happens. just waiting for replacement sections to turn up, front floor halves, long sill inner and outer , 2 jacking points, 2 outriggers, front lower nose, more front brake parts, already have a jacking point and outrigger but have to modify one to fit.
cab divider is in just needs some finishing some small rear floor sections need replacing and a few more holes welded up and now my camera has shit itself so off to buy a new one .
and one of the safari hinges fell off when it was removed as the previous repair failed, common problem .

other issues were the fuel tank was cracked in 3 places looks like from jacking the box up too high, and the filler neck was almost cracked half way at the base with silastic used to try and seal it up , so another tank was sourced but this one had no neck so the orig one was fitted and checked for leaks after welding. I'll get to the front beam later, but it was completely fkd.
pics of engine are after a fkn big clean and engine tin repaint and exhaust fitted up with new gaskets and bolted up tight .
also added factory idiot oil light as dont trust cheap guages and sender was only finger tight which was causing alot of leakes ontop of the others.

You should have bought a restored bus, then you could have just got in and driven it
I think its fair to say we've all bought a car before and found a ton of work was required to get it roadworthy which is why its important to inspect it as thoroughly as you can before you buy not just after and ask as many questions as you need so as buyer and seller are clear as mud.
Looks like you've made a nice lot of work for yourself and it should make for a nice bus once its all done. Keep up the hard work.
