Re: Ian’s Dual Cab
You could turn that into a great single cab....
No matter what happens they can't take you out in the street and shoot you......

Re: Ian’s Dual Cab
Ian, you are an absolute machine, considering I only dropped it off to you on Saturday (day before the cut up)
I’ll be following your thread with interest and am sure your ‘wizardry’ will work wonders with this DC project
Cheers Tom

Re: Ian’s Dual Cab
If original, what dates are on the speedo and fuel gauge Ian. My June 61 DC by chassis number had a fuel gauge dated 2/62, speedo dated 3/62, suggesting it was assembled many months later. Our DCs are 8 units apart by chassis number. Cheersvanell wrote: ↑Tue Dec 13, 2022 8:05 am Just some oddball things on the DC, it’s definitely 61 going by the chassis number but,
The wiring loom is for a fuel gauge bus, and the dash wires for the gauge are original but it has a fuel tap cable in it , the fuel tank has the sender in it as well as a manual fuel tap
It has a grab handle on the dash
The taillights are oval, and look factory fitted
Maybe assembled in 62 with all the extras a 62 would have had

Re: Ian’s Dual Cab
That’s not patina mate, it’s rust
Won’t be too many panels left for OG paint
I’ll weld it all up first then think about the paint
Maybe be able to keep the inside paint

Trial fit of floor, seems like the last 2 I have done, about 10 mm short, this time I left about 20 mm of the rear floor
