Apologies for the lack of updates.

Slapped a good dollop of bog on and then used the wire wheel on the grinder to shape the curve. Came up a treat so off to Hammonds I trundled.

“One can of Toyota Hilux 058 paint please” I said opting for the 1999 OG paint colour and not the modified colour from 25 years of outdoor living. Colour matching is for pussies.

Sure the colour match isn’t perfect but it’s my Toyota.

Since scored a wood heater for the shed in preparation for those cold resto days and nights. Failure to prepare is preparation for failure they say which may explain why so many restos stall over winter and then get forgotten about. Bloke from Adelaide, whom I chose not to out, told me that as an excuse.
