Re: 55...part timer
I remember seeing that bus at Tony's and thinking you'd have to be brave and daft to take it on, but you've done an amazing job. Looks top notch, and great to see another 55 on the road too.

Scotty thats shit news mate - sorry to hear that, i know how lengthy the recovery process can be with this kind of injury but make sure you get plenty of advice from different specialists - i suffered for 3 years before finding someone that got me on the road to recovery- hopefully they'll get you fixed up quick

Sweet just sussing out how I should protect the bare metal sections of my van I like the look yours has. Is the finish dry to the touch or is it oily? How often do you think you'll need to apply it? I guess I should do a search about it but just after your opinion. How good would getting our vans together be for some pics

Re: 55...part timer
It drys hard after a couple of days but brush strokes can be an issue if you want a shiney finish, otherwise wipe it with a rag to get a more satin finish, burns off in the sun after about 6months, especially on the roof and it can yellow the paint a bit too
I'm thinking of using a product called rustmaster I think (macca??)
Will post pics when I find some
