Finally started the cleaning process. Don’t uave the luxury of a sandblasted, nor wanted to use one to save sand getting into it.

Then came across this.
Image

Could cut and weld it up, but I don’t know if it’s out of shape, and don’t want to fuck the front end geometry..

So had to start on this one then. Also from a 55 Wolfsburg bus so not complaining. Not the og one but still happy.

And apart, again....

Hopefully this one will be good.

Could do that, or just use another 55 beam and know that it hasn’t been cracked

Went out to see the bus for the 1st time in ages, not as bad as I remember, but still a bunch of work to do to it..

Doors are all good.

Only a couple small spots, this is the worst.

Doglegs need patching, or replacing.

Nose needs lower.

Floors, fronts shit, rear may be able to save in parts.

Batt trays could be patched.

Rear corners could be cut, or patched up in places.

Roof has a hole.
Image

Short side sill.
Image

Parcel tray.
Image

Bulkheads cut.
Image

Windscreen bottoms..

Under both front arches looks bad

Hope the chassis is ok, won’t know till I get into it properly tho. Best thing is the long side sill!! So hopefully won’t have to touch it. Need to get into it soon.
