Have you looked at ultrasonic cleaners? They seem to do a great job

Re: Forbes Soaring Bus [my 60 bus]
Soda blasted on the right, dirty on the left. Just using a shitty supercheap gravity fed blasting gun and soda from woolies.
Cleans up the aluminium without pitting, wet bead blasting would be even better but leaves grit everywhere and cost $$.

bit if a play while in ISO... fresh carbs on, engine in, kicked over easy as, just need to tune and balance the carbs.. also some other odd shit before I fit new interior inc the Kustom Kombi rear R&R bed... - also some quality work on the front windows... the boy also had his first drive of the bus, was great to experience that, heaps of smiles and thumbs up with the L plates on..

also, that stand is an absolute champion, so easy to get motor in and out yourself, the boy did help to stabilise it, however no heavy lifting..

Good stuff Warb
My daughter had her first drive of any car a few years ago now. We were on our RATeX trip to Birdsville and she she had never driven any car - I told her she could drive Cat in the Hat on the Birdsville Track and she drove it like a champ.
Not sure who had the bigger grin on their face her or me!!

Re: Forbes Soaring Bus [my 60 bus]
Update.. loss of oil pressure once at temp. Spoke to a bunch of people, and got some great advice on troubleshooting, it turned out to be a loose oil pickup.. so the engine had to come out and and had to be pulled down.. Dave Becker offered up some time, Dave and I (manly Dave) stripped it down and rebuilt in 9 hours over two days, the OG build was awesome, as I knew it would be, however one small thing had to be sorted.., I learnt heaps. Anyway, he's a time lapse of the whole process from start to finish, 9 hours into 30 minutes.

Get those doors Dion….. we need to handicap Warbster for the run north to Valla with his fresh motor. The fuzz will be on the lookout and closer then he likes this cruise
