Nearly there, now I'm stuck with the steering wheel. Have to work out a way of getting that off

Depends if you want to keep your old wheel, I changed my standard wheel to a new one but it only needed a few good hits from a rubber mallet and a harmonic balance puller, lucky I suppose..
But I saw on that "Campervan crisis" dvd he used boiling hot water and poured the water over the centre part of the wheel and gave it a few good hits with a mallet and it let go, something about the different metals from the wheel and the shaft expanding at different rates from the heat..
I dunno maybe worth a try with the boiling water and the harmonic balance puller??
Cheers

That was brilliant, would have loved to try that but its to late, I had enough being mr nice guy today, I tried the hot water without success Tried to make a large washer like in the other post, that didnt work so I took my hammer to it and whacked it off. I was planning to get a white steering wheel anyways. Thanks for the links by the way.

Had a poke around today to see what panels I should order, and took the fuel tank out.

looks like it, however will not be required once you fit your stainless exhaust less those pesky heater boxes.. 8) ,, you got a little rust there, not the real fun begins!..

Stainless on my budget??? I dont know

Yep fun fun with my rust, researching parts prices is the tricky bit, but thanks to 4tune8 I'm on the right track with that.
