Dean, are those outside shots taken at the back of the Chief's Teepee? If it is I was in the same state as you when he and Damien did my suspension.
Sort of like the maternity ward waiting room but more exiting eh?
Hope you are bringing her to the nationals, I am looking forward bigtime to seeing it.

En Vogue
Indian bolt in IRS, Lbug box, re-newed CVs ...
The BRMs now fitted.
The back end is finished, the adjusters modified to get what I need. Brakes rebuilt, with Bay Master Cylinder. The suspension is not set up yet, as the motor isn't going in now till the New Year, with some of the inner running gear, so it can get the right height. The rubber will get white walled.
I should come down a couple of inches yet.... and hopefully look more like ...
Anyway ... have a kool yule ...

update:Jan 2006
Took a trip to the chiefs today (been away in Tassie on holidays for a while) ... forgot the camera and wasn't expecting much to have got done over Santatime.
But what a transformation! The door locks are on, the doors are aligned, and there's glass in the holes so it kinda looks more like a something I could drive. The front bar was on - and nice to see as before it went to the painters it was seriously crap.
The speedo and fuel guage is in and the door handles work. So the box of new stuff I've been collecting for a while has been slightly emptied which is good to see.
So progress continues at it's usual steady pace...
They've also dumped their T4 and added some seriously chromed and seriously huge rims, so suspect that that's a new project ... which then lead to talking about lowering my T3 blah blah ... so that's a the new years resolution blown - (not to stuff about with buses in 06).
Will post some more pics as and when something significant happens....
Happy New Year.....

Look like I'm about a couple of weeks away for getting the Panel home...
The rubbers (buy from Andy!) are all in now. The locks and mechanisms are in, the parcel tray is back in black. The guages are in. The mirrors are on - despite the passenger hinge being a total pain.
The best bit - though I guess people won't notice - is the fit of the doors and the overall line. Came up way better than expected, really happy with the fit. Now the black bits are going on, its looking better all the time. Apart from the secondhand motor, don't reckon there's much on the bus that hasn't been replaced with new ... amazing how money dissapears on things no one sees ... anyway....took a few more shots on the hoist for 'the historical record' ... tommorrow gonna fit the new steering wheel, finish the indicators and test fit the first of the LCD screens in the dash ...
special thanks to kombibob ... those second hand rubbers worked out just fine. The only reason the drivers aint in, is that it's easier to move about.
...yep, I'm gonna use US spec rear lights ... with some hot rod blinkers on the rear bar. Just to be different. The bar's not on as the motors not in at the mo.

i really like the one colour theme you went for with the bumpers, looks great,
how much money gets eaten up for things not seen just look at a panel a couple of lights with less windows but still way to much money, where you save on window frames and rubbers you get stung with body and paint,
vwma will or should be knocking on your door very soon, a credit to you dean

the wallet is most empty ... I hoped it would be a 10k bus, then a 15, then a 20 ... tommorrow I hand over the last of MY loot, which means further work needs approval from the Kieser, which as we know is not a place most hubbies want to go ... still 35 watchers on eGay for my Bay ... so I might get to live again ... ends tommorrow. Maybe one of em might actually bid. People that have called from the local paper seem to have NO idea what it costs to fix a 1 or 2k Gaywindow, and my micro, despite the shit (pun) colour is stock, rust free original at 4k ... I'm over it.
My worry is though, I aint got a garage, just a car port and a roller door, out onto the back yard, and I've got 3 kids under 4 - after all this work, I've started to freak over the idea of leaving in the domain of the 3 foot Ninjas...gggrrrr....now I've gotta move house I guess.
Fkin buses...send ya broke....or worse....Gay Window anyone????
(but hanging out to lower the T3 and get some rims off Andy - next project) ... lol....sorry...I've been drinkign....burb...
