Split road trip!!!

Post by Zanderman »

G'day guys,

Went on a little road trip the other day to pick up a new bus.
I took our '64 LHD Deluxe Betty and she has got to be the most reliable split screen in the world!!! We completed the following road trip to pick up our new '67 RHD High Roof walk thru' bus. Halifax, West Yorkshire to Aviles, Español 1231 miles. Aviles to Fontenay-En-Parisis, France 772 miles and then Fontenay-En-Parisis to Halifax 475 miles. From 18:00 Monday night till 8:00 Friday morning. What a trip!!!

Thanks
Zander.

Thanks for all the positive comments!
The old girl pulls the trailer alright on the flat (50mph), but on the hills she dies in the arse!
Still, she's a goer none the less!

Yeah nice trip but be better to be bringing that High top and the other high top and the 15 home for me perhaps !!!

Surely you can spare your brother one of them ?

Nice work Big fella and yes to coming on the Kenya trip and finding a spare one for me too , we may need to road train it behind Betty though so we get both back at same time :)
